MEET THE TEAM

Todd Hughes
Owner, PADI Master Scuba Diver Trainer
Todd is the master, the legend, and the driving force behind Dive Darwin. With over 18 years of instructing experience across the Great Barrier Reef and the historic wrecks of Darwin Harbour, his knowledge runs as deep as the dive sites he explores.
If there’s water and bubbles, chances are Toddy’s already been there—probably teaching someone, finding something, or telling a cracking story about it.
Known for his patience, skill, and relentless passion for the ocean, Todd has mentored hundreds of divers and still gets excited every time he hits the water.

Aaron Norris
PADI Specialty Instructor
Aaron found his passion for diving 14 years ago and never looked back. He’s drawn to the weird, the wild, and the “wait... you dive there?” kind of sites—whether it’s deep gorges, murky harbours, forgotten wrecks, or places most divers overlook.
He’s all about practical dive skills and pushing beyond the usual, always up for a dive that keeps you thinking.
That said, he still loves a slow cruise over a coral garden— because sometimes, it’s nice to just watch the reef breathe.

Peter Meyer
PADI Divemaster, Technical Diver & Service Technician
Pete goes where most divers wouldn’t dare—into the darkness of flooded caves and deep technical dives.
As our in-house gear guru and rebreather aficionado, he’s the guy who makes sure your equipment (and your nerves) are rock solid.
With a quiet confidence and years of experience behind the tools, Pete keeps Dive Darwin running below the surface and behind the scenes. When it comes to the abyss, Pete’s already been there... and back.

Lee Craven
PADI Divemaster
Lee is the newest member of the Dive Darwin crew, bringing with him a wealth of experience from training defence and offshore personnel in UHET (Underwater Helicopter Escape Training).
Calm, patient, and always wearing a big smile, Lee has a natural way of making divers feel confident and comfortable in the water.
He’s quick to lend a hand, happy to share what he knows, and always up for a good dive story—especially the ones that get better each time they’re told.
